Easterling Warrior
Well, here's my character sheet, a quick drawing and an even quicker biography of Ahito, my Easterling warrior.
Hope you dig!
Ahito was born into a family of soldiers, and spent his childhood training for the day that he, too, would join the ranks of the Easterling army.
After his father and three older brothers lost their lives in various armed conflicts against the men of Westron, Ahito became disillusioned with the life of a warrior. He began to loathe the bloodshed, the pillaging and wanton slaughter, and began to nurture plans of desertion.
In the fall of his 25th year, Ahito was sent into the greater Rhovanion area, a member of a 50-man raiding party. The group set up camp south of Mirkwood, and was preparing to destroy a nearby village the next day when disaster struck. In the night, a group of unknown assailants--presumably elves--attacked the camp.
When Ahito, wounded and left for dead, came to his senses the next morning, he realized that he was the only survivor of the raiding party. He saw this as a chance to begin a new life. Casting away most of the armor and clothing that could identify him as an Easterling warrior, Ahito nursed his wounds and tried to put as much distance between himself and his homeland as he could, since deserters were shown no mercy. Also realizing that he was now deep in enemy territory, Ahito endeavored to keep a low profile, wearing a scarf over his face and shunning contact with villagers as much as possible, since his accent and physical appearance would give him away immediately.
Ahito is a man on the run, a hired mercenary, but a mercenary with principles. After all, he didn't become a deserter only to go back to burning villages and stealing horses for someone else.
He has a certain sense of honor, and although slow to draw weapons, will not take
unwarranted provocation from anyone. He has a duellist's mentality, and anyone who pushes him too far will regret it dearly. Ahito's main goal is to find a good horse (his was killed in the attack), acquire enough money to buy supplies, and head northwest as quickly as possible.

Awesome! Nice drawing. Too bad his history is going to be such a short one...

"A mercenary with principles"? Sounds like the title of a Lenny Kravitz album. I have a feeling poor Ahito will abandon those principles when our group of not-so-invincible fledgelings stumbles into a den of giant spiders or giant lizards with lasers, and soils his Easterling britches before bailing on us. I am counting on you Dan!
